I have been using the VIPARSPECTRA 600W for quite some time now. When I was selecting a LED full spectrum grow light, I was initially confused as there were a lot of good companies that were offering the same kind of product. Check out our grow tent reviews.

After some initial glancing and short listing, I was a little skeptical in choosing a product from VIPARSPECTRA. Even though it has a good brand name and standing in the market, the competition is too fierce with a lot of companies offering the similar product. So, I had a lot of options to choose from.

I must say that the VIPARSPECTRA Reflector Series 600W does its job it’s meant for and will not let you down. VIPARSPECTRA had just launched this product when I bought it. This is their new line product. After using it for a while now, I must admit that the lights are high quality and the panel is quite powerful.

To give a clear understanding about the product, I would like to sum up the main features in VIPARSPECTRA review.

Talking about the design of VIPARSPECTRA 600W, I must comment that it is one of the more superior designs out there in the market. The LED Grow Light is designed in a way that the light is spread evenly.

It has an inbuilt option of switching to veg/bloom mode making it a perfect contender if the space is very limited. So that is also one area where the panel excels as it lights the entire.

The panel is configured with 120 red, blue and white 5 watt Bridgelux/Epileds diodes which provide the full spectrum of light. Be sure to use eye protection as the panel is extremely bright.

The construction of the product is of high quality. The quality and build clearly indicates that a lot of time has gone into research and development of this product, careful experimentation and testing.

The heat sinks are made up of high quality aluminum. The VIPARSPECTRA Reflector-Series 600W LED Grow Light is carefully engineered and tested and would outlast the 3 year warranty.

The VIPARSPECTRA Reflector Series 600W Full Spectrum panel has two 4.72″ fan for cooling. The fan draws air in thru the side vents, across the heat sink and blow out the top. This is petty standard with other comparable LED grow panels.

The fans are extremely quiet. Because LED grow lights are 70% cooler than HPS bulbs, you only need a small exhaust fan to provide fresh air rather than a large exhaust fan to remove excessive heat.

The panel is cool to the touch and never gets about 78 degrees. This allows me to place the panel within 24 inches of the tops of the plants to get the most penetration during the flowering stage.

Power consumption of the VIPARSPECTRA 600 watt is only around 276 watts, which is in my opinion is less when compared with similar products from its competitors. It is ideal for a 4x4ft grow tent. The light that panel provides is bright enough for all stages of growth.

Expanding your indoor garden is relatively easy by adding additional fixtures by daisy chaining them together. No special cables are needed. Just plug the power cable from one unit into the other.

LED grow lights are really easy to setup when using a grow tent. Each kit comes with the LED panel, hanging hardware and power cord.

You simple need to attach the hanging wire to the four corners of the panel and then hang it from the top of your grow tent frame.

Plug in the power cord and you are ready to start using it. The hanging wire is adjustable so you can lower or raise the panel as needed. If you have more than one panel you can daisy chain them together.

Final Thoughts – VIPARSPECTRA Reflector Series 600W

For me, the criteria were not only a product that is more cost effective but also robust, with extra longevity and reliable. I think the VIPARSPECTRA 600W exactly fits the bill as it has some solid light intensity and area coverage.

The panel is very powerful, dependable and does its work to the best of its capacity. I was not disappointed and I don’t think you would be either. Go for it!

I just thought why not give the VIPARSPECTRA 600W a try even though it has limited solid reviews and word of mouth. And I must say, I was not at all disappointed. After completing 4 crops, I have not seen any changes in intensity at all or had any issues at all. If you are on a budget, the VIPARSPECTRA is the grow light for you.
